The partial pressure of water vapor is usually referred to as the vapor pressure. It is the pressure the water vapor would exert if it existed alone at the temperature and volume of the mixture. MSD Membrane Dryers Coalescing Prefilters are a must with membrane dryers. Hydrocarbon (oil) molecules will rapidly plug the membrane pores, quickly rendering the membrane ineffective. Automatic mechanical drain removes liquid oil and water contaminants from the system.
