Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 25 “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 27 Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying? 28 And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 If God would do that for a non-believer then, what would He do for a believer and follower today? God says that He is “the same yesterday, today and forever. ” (Heb 13: 8) Do I believe this? Do I live this?

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 17 Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 18 � Instruct them�to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share, 19 storing up for themselves a good reserve for the age to come, so that they may take hold of life that is real. -1 Tim. 6: 17 -19

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 To the Rich of this Age: • Do not be arrogant (live & feel superior) • Do not set your hope on the uncertainty of wealth • Set your hope on God - who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. • Do what is good - be rich in good works, be generous, be willing to share • Store up a good reserve for the age to come, so that you may take hold of life that is real.

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 Being rich in and of this world is the evidence of one’s insecurity in God. The Rich Farmer - Luke 12: 13 -21 Jesus said, “Watch out and be on guard against all greed because one’s life is not in the abundance of his possessions. ”

Covetousness a god GOD “No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and of money. ” -Mt. 6: 24 -

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 “Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ” –Mt. 6: 19 -21

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 Wildflowers will grow in and sustain under the most rugged and trying conditions. Wildflowers are not rich in soil, but are content and thrive in what they do have.

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. –Hebrews 13: 5 Are you content with what you have? Can you be content with what you have? In whose soil do you rest?

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 Can I trust God? Can you add 18 inches to your height by worrying? –Mt. 6: 27 Life is more than eating and drinking. -Mt. 6: 25

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 To Everybody of this Age: • Set your hope on God - who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. • Build up a good reserve- be rich in good works, be generous, be willing to share • Take hold of “the life” that is real Will you be rich or poor in the next life to come? (Luke 16: 19 -31)

Wildflower Faith – Mt. 6: 25 -34 The Real Life is not this life, but the Life to come, who has already come. JESUS!
