PASS PROTECTION 50/70 SERIES – HALF SLIDE PROTECTION Half Slide Protection is based on having the B Back insert into the open B Gap. The direction of the protection call is based on the defensive front, not the play call. VS. 40 FRONT Left guard will call the open B Gap – Roger for right, Louie for left.
