A children's chorus will provide the opportunity for each participant:
-To express oneself through a high standard of choral performance.
-To develop individual vocal skill, auditory perception, facility in sight-reading, and benefit from an age-appropriate training of the maturing voice.
-To develop an appreciation for classical, popular and traditional music from the world's cultures.
-To develop understanding and respect for others from different racial, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
-To develop responsibility, self -confidence, and a love for singing.
-To understand the importance of their individual contribution to the success of the whole.
-And to foster personal and social growth, and develop a sense of self- worth, accomplishment, and pride.

Why Requirements and Rules? • Students depend on one another for balance, cues, social and emotional support. • Missing students affect the results of every rehearsal. .
Why Requirements and Rules? • Students who arrive late to rehearsal disrupt the learning of the other participants. • It is an inefficient use of time to repeat everything in a rehearsal due to the tardiness of a few. .
Why Requirements and Rules? • Students who fail to attend the performances affect the balance and support of the whole. • Featured parts that were given and practiced, are dropped due to absence. • Students fail to fulfill promises made. They should learn to honor the commitments they promise. .
