Marketing – who will buy? Operations – how do I produce and deliver? • Organizations need engineers to – Innovate to design new products and services – Manage and optimise processes and minimise waste – Analyse the operations and identify and implement continuous improvement – Develop feasible financial plans, and manage capital and operational spending – Match technology innovation to customer requirements
