Brief Description: For this assignment, I will answer the following questions on why I want to become a teacher and what type of teacher I want to be, traits I possess, and how I will contribute to the community. Rationale: To document my understanding of Standard #9, Professional Learning and Ethical Practice, I selected to include information from the textbook and an article we talked about in class because this assignment demonstrates my ability to use evidence based on experience and knowledge of myself on why I want to become a teacher and how I can benefit the community. The article illustrates how I will develop my educational philosophy. This ensures that I will engage in ongoing professional learning and use evidence to continue to evaluate my past, current, and future choices and actions so I can become the best teacher I can be!
