Your Turn! Create an introduction to your book. 1. Create a hook. Start by googling “interesting facts about (your animal)” Add this interesting fact as your first sentence. You can turn it into a question by asking, “Did you know that…? ” 2. Tell the reader what they will be learning by looking at your chapter titles to get your big ideas. Create a sentence that gives your reader an idea of what they will look forward to reading about. 3. Try to close your introduction with a clever sentence to help your reader dive in!
