“Whoa, this changes everything!”

When you say 'Forward' or 'Back', your lips move in those directions.

Jesus with ME in Him “Whoa, this changes everything!” ”On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross…” “Jesus, OUR redemption, OUR salvation is in His blood…Clean hands, pure hearts, good grace, good God: His Name is Jesus…God is madly in love with you…”

Four evidences that this changes everything surrounding the death of Christ: • From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. • The curtain in the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. • The earth quaked and the rocks were split. • The tombs were opened and many bodies of saints were raised and appeared to people. (Matthew 27: 45 -54)

Since the fall, the world has been locked into the “life-death cycle”. But as the Son of God rises, death starts to work backwards. Life flows generously and abundantly from and through Jesus into the bodies of those who knew him (the “saints”). Suddenly the life-death cycle becomes the life-death-life cycle. It is a powerful statement of what he died and rose to achieve: he brings life to all who belong to him. life death life

A witness who saw “this changes everything…”

An enemy for whom “this changed everything…” I Corinthians 2: 7 -8 We speak of God's hidden and mysterious wisdom that God decided to use for our glory long before the world began. None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Satan had no expectation of a resurrection! And he had ABSOLUTELY no idea that resurrection would be reproduced over and over again in everyone who believes!

A victory that changed everything for all of us…. Hebrews 2: 8 -9 When God subjected all things to him, He left nothing outside of his control. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

And HERE is how we see Him—not just a hero, but a PIONEER! Hebrews 2: 10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Pioneer: arxēgós (from arxḗ, "the first" and ágō, "to lead") – properly, the first in a long procession; a file-leader who pioneers the way for many others to follow. Same word used in Hebrews 12: 2 Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. And in Acts 3: 15 You killed the pioneer of life, but God raised him from the dead.

Jesus with ME in Him “Whoa, this changes everything!” Our hero…. Our PIONEER!

What does He plan for us to follow Him into? ALL THAT HE PURCHASED ON THE CROSS! Righteousness, peace, joy, health, strength, provision, LOVE, fulfilling our destiny… THE KINGDOM OF GOD! (Including our place in it as well as its benefits!)
