Who uses transcripts � YOU! ◦ You should always know what is on your transcript! � Your counselor � Your insurance agent ◦ We look at them at least once every year and by senior year multiple times! ◦ Your GPA influences your insurance rate on your car! � Your parents � College Admissions ◦ Low GPAs mean no admissions. ◦ All colleges ask for them and even conservatories will look at them.

When do you get a transcript � You receive a transcript during preregistration. ◦

When do you get a transcript � You receive a transcript during preregistration. ◦ When we meet for our one-on-one, your counselor will do a credit check. � Once you are a junior, a credit check will be done in the fall and at preregistration. � Senior year, you will get one in the fall and after 7 th semester. � You can request one at any time for insurance purposes, jobs, summer programs, or whatever! ◦ See the registrar or Ms. Laura if you need one!

Valedictorian(s) Valedictorian status is awarded to the student(s) with the highest grade point average (weighted GPA with Bonus Points) in the graduating class. Salutatorian(s) Awarded to students with the 2 nd highest GPA (weighted GPA with Bonus Points) in the graduating class
