Senior lecturer in Pharmacology and Medical Sciences Coordinator of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Pharmacology Degrees Based in the School of Medicine, Medical Science and Nutrition University lead for retention • I am here to give you a whirlwind tour of the University and its component parts! • Aims: introduce you to your new home/family explain the structure of the University and its schools and sections give you confidence that you know where to go with any issues you encounter

Parts of the University Structure Relevant To You: Registry (academic affairs): Central academic administration of ALL students Responsible for registration, examinations, graduations, managing student records, timetabling, tuition fees, degree regulations, quality assurance……… Registry officers are assigned to specific academic areas and are central to enable changes in your course choices, exemptions, waivers etc. There always duty registry officers available to speak to via the Info. Hub (see later) Some examples of registry-specific queries relate to: Changing courses, course exemptions or waivers, fees, registration, graduation…. . Always…no silly questions……if the question goes to the wrong person/dept it will be redirected
