“Who Am I” Portfolio Assignment

“Who am I” Folder Assignment: DIRECTIONS: This week you will be exploring who you are and what your goals will be for this year in Honors Language Arts. 1. (Due Thursday) Create a Circle Map with a minimum of 6 potential goals for Language Arts this year that are specific and measurable.

2. (DUE Thursdayday) On the back of your Circle Map, create a Bubble Map with 2 adjectives that describe you. Search for adjectives that begin with the letters of your first name. Include a minimum of 2 adjectives for each letter of your first name.

Maps are due Thursday! The rest of class period is yours to make your maps (Please use the same piece of paper for both maps. )

3. Decorate your folder. You MUST use the front and back of your folder. Please include: • Your first name, last name & Period on the folder tab. • A photo or drawing of yourself or your interests. • List 3 ELA Goals you would like to pursue this year from your Circle Map. • Create an Acrostic Poem with your first name using the adjectives from your Bubble Map. • Create a Six Word Memoir describing who you are right now. • BE CREATIVE, USE COLOR, AND HAVE FUN!
