Whilst we carried out our Market Research we discovered what people like to watch and what people didn’t enjoy watching. Within this research we discovered that the top three films on box office were crime or drama’s. These films are: infidelity The Social Network: GENRE: DRAMA RATED- 8. 5/10 The Town: GENRE: ROMANCE, CRIME, ACTION & DRAMA RATED- 8/10 Buried: GENRE: SUSPENSE (DRAMA) RATED- 7. 9/10 ALL OF THESE FILMS HAVE THE SAME GENRE AS OUR FILM!

During our media research we also found out that; • 80% of people who answered our questionnaire, said that they like watching Crime/Drama. So we are definitely doing this genre. • 78% of people also answered that they were single, so they have more time to go to the cinema. • The other 20% of people who answered, didn’t pick Crime/Drama instead picked Comedy. • This is some comments we received: -I love Crime/Drama films, I think they are scary yet exciting -Crime/Drama films are great to watch with your partner -I am not a fan of Crime/Drama to be honest, I like comedy better. • Because of our results we have decided to defiantly choose Crime/Drama as our Genre.

Our film consists of 4 characters, this characters include: § Chantelle Wilkinson (girlfriend) § Phoebe Wilkinson (sister) § Danny Dawson (Boyfriend) § Sergeant Miller (Detective)

The basic outline of our storyline is; § Two sisters who are very different from each other. Chantelle hasn’t got any confidence, but Phoebe has and is very pretty. § Although Chantelle luckily finds herself a boyfriend. Phoebe is not happy about this. § Phoebe and Chantelle do not get on with each other. § Phoebe is jealous and has an affair with Chantelle’s boyfriend. § Chantelle finds out about the affair. § Chantelle kicks both of them out of her parents house. § Danny tries to console Chantelle, whilst Phoebe leaves. § Chantelle stabs Danny. § The death is investigated.

The script also indicates when there will be a flashback. This will also help characters and the camera men where to move.
