Point contains: Slides 3 to 11: A presentation of 7 pieces of fruit – apple, strawberry, lemon, pear, grape, kiwi, lime – using indefinite articles and answering the question: What is it? Slide 22: A classification table, where learners to place fruit nouns into the correct vowel or non vowel column, using the correct indefinite articles (an or a). Slides 23 to 26: Making predictions: ask learners to predict whether the different pieces of fruit will sink or float - recording their answers in a table – and using 2 sets of adjectives to justify their answers (small/big -light/heavy). Slides 27 to 31: Experiment/ Conclusion: Learners complete the experiment by plunging the items of fruit into water and check their predictions.
