PEE: writing up the ideas Roald Dahl shows how fearful the boys were in receiving their punishment. He shows us this when he says, “the boy sidled forward”. Using the word ‘sidled’ suggests the boy moves very slowly. He is like a scared animal and is not happy at having to move. This suggests to the reader he was fearful of what was about to happen to him. Use the ideas on the paper to write your own PEE paragraph.
