Research Protections Program The RPP ensures the safe, ethical conduct of human, animal and laboratory research compliant with University policy and regulatory requirements. Technology Commercialization Office The TCO is the university’s intellectual property administration center, serving GVSU’s researchers and inventors with licensing, patent, and technology commercialization issues and acting as an active liaison to parties interested in leveraging GVSU research or materials for academic or corporate endeavors. • Assists in the identification of patentable and copyrightable inventions • Licenses the university's technologies; • Facilitates collaborations between researchers, companies, and entrepreneurs; • Encourages and supports product development and entrepreneurial activities within the university. Statistical Consulting Center The SCC provides statistical advice and assistance with projects that are for research or instructional purposes. The biostatistics graduate students and statistics undergraduate students get the opportunity to work with researchers across GVSU and its environs. Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors The center's well-trained peer consultants can help you to brainstorm ideas, organize content, integrate research, polish a draft, and correctly document sources. Any graduate or undergraduate GVSU student can take advantage of the writing center drop-in hours simply by coming into the center with a draft of a paper.
