When Bad Things Happen in Residency: Dealing with Unexpected, Potentially Traumatic and Extraordinary Events
Welcome! This presentation was done in a discussion format. Our intention was to get an understanding of what other programs may have in place regarding protocols for handling traumatic events. Specific scenarios were included to gain feedback from attendees regarding how the situation might be handled in their program. Participants were given a chance to share their programs approaches or their need to develop a protocol for their program.
