The options • There are many options from here. Lots. But, we’re going to

The options • There are many options from here. Lots. But, we’re going to focus on three: • Hard Brexit • Soft Brexit • A 2 nd Referendum

Hard Brexit • The idea of a Hard Brexit is that the UK just

Hard Brexit • The idea of a Hard Brexit is that the UK just leaves everything. As soon as possible. • That way, we can start making deals with countries all over the world much sooner. • We can also start to make deals with the EU, too – but from outside. This might make things a little easier to understand.

Soft Brexit • Some prefer the idea of a Soft Brexit. • That would

Soft Brexit • Some prefer the idea of a Soft Brexit. • That would see the UK stay in lots of the bits of the EU. We’d still sell them stuff and we’d still travel round Europe without checks. • We would not actually be a member of the EU, but it might look like we are.

2 nd Referendum • Some say that when we voted to leave on 23

2 nd Referendum • Some say that when we voted to leave on 23 rd June 2016, we didn’t know what we were voting for. • Once the negotiations are decided, we should therefore have another vote to see if that’s a future that we really want.
