What Makes Our Country Unique? THE PRESENTATION FROM THE STUDENT S OF KAVYA SCHOOL KATHMANDU NEPAL

Mt. Everest [ Sagarmatha ] Mount Everest is the highest mountain of the world. Its height is 8848 m. The first person to climb is Tenzing Norgey Sherpa and Edmund Hilari. Out of 10 highest mountains 8 mountains are in Nepal. We feel proud to have Himalayas. Nepal is also known as the country of Himalayas.

Gautam Buddha is the light of asia. He is the one to spread the peace in the world. He was born in Lumbini of Nepal. He was born as the son of King Suddudhan and Queen Mayadevi. The royal prist told them that the prince will not remain in the palace later and the royal family tried their best to hold him back. He was married and had a son. Once when he was out of the palace he saw dead person being taken and people crying. He saw old man. He knew there is sorrow in the world. In order to find happiness and peace he left all the comfort of the palace and went out in search of it. He meditated for years and got enlightment in gaya which now lies in India. Birth of Gautam Buddha makes our country unique.

The triangular flag Nepal is the one and only country with triangular flag. It was made after the late King Prithvi Narayan Shah unified Nepal. It has three color where white represents peace, blue represents the prosperity and red color represents the blood of the brave Nepalese soldiers who are widely known as Gorkhalis. Sun and moon in the flag says the country shall remain in the universe till the sun and moon remains in the universe

Temples Nepal is a secular country after the establishment of federal democracy. Otherwise it was hindu country in the history. Temples based on Hinduism are the features of the country. In every street we find small or big temples with in the gap of some distance

World heritage site Kathmandu is the city where 7 the world heritage site enlisted by UNESCO are situated within the area of 27 sq km. Kathmandu durbar square, Bhakthapur Durbar square, P ashupatinath temple, S yambhunath stupa, Boudhanath stupa, P atan durbar square, Changunarayan temple. Other three are out of Kathmandu Valley.
