Short films were first produced in the early 19 th century, however they were not yet called short films but feature films as they included a feature then followed by a single or more short subjects. The first ideal place to go for funding when making short film would be the UK film industry , as they offer funs for both post production as well as production. The local council is another way in which you can retrieve funds, as they will normally supply you with the funding for your film especially if it benefits the council in some way. Furthermore, funding can be gathered through charity organisations, however the y tend to only fund for those films that relate to their type of charity.

Fest Short Film Festival b My response: I enjoyed this short film very much as it is very simple however the twist still remains effective. The whole story line consists around two characters, who played their roles extremely well. The effects and emotion from the story come from the facial expressions of the characters, with the camera focusing on close ups of the characters faces.
