Jeremiah 17: 9 ESV “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? ” NIV “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? ” NLT “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? ”
