The Marianist part of it � LIFE is a group based off the Marianist’s Society of Mary › A group dedicated to openness and progression � What all Marianist Schools strive for › Educate formation in faith › Provide an integral quality education › Educate in family spirit › Educate for service, justice and peace › Educate for adaptation and change

The Founders � Chami (aka Blessed William Chaminade) Joseph › Our Main Dude �In the aftermath of the French Revolution, Father Chaminade, a diocesan priest from Bordeaux, France �While exiled to Saragossa, Spain he spent time at the shrine of Our Lady of the Pillar where he found inspiration �He co founded a group of men and women to form a community of Christian outreach and support.

Founders Continued � The Venerable Adèle de Batz de Trenquelléon › His Partner in Crime �Daughters of Mary Immaculate �The money in the group �Met up with Chaminade and was able to further their faith outreach program

The Final Founder � Venerable Marie Thérèse de Lamourous Charlotte › Another collaborator �Was working with her own group when she got in touch with Chaminade �Miséricorde and she was also the director of the women’s sodality. Today she is regarded as the Mother of the Lay Branch of the Family of Mary
