What is interactive media

Interactive media is a type of communication in which the programs uses depends on if the user uses it. Interactive media engages the user and interact with the user and it makes the user want to come back to keep using the application. It is a way for companies to know how their users are like and their mindsets so they can find a new way to connect to their customers and a new way to advertise their products. There are many way how interactive media is in our everyday life and how some many people are trying makes these interactive media apps for example education institutions making apps for their students like myday which helps student find extra resources for studying and so students can see their timetables. Another example of interactive media is You. Tube because on You. Tube, the user can post video, like or dislike videos, comment on video and etc. Interactive media to me is something that makes you wanting to come back for example when I am on You. Tube I want to see more video on the site because it engages me and makes me interested which will make me want to keep digging around the site.

Network literacy relates to the basic knowledge and skills required for citizens to participate in the networked society. For example Twitter because anyone can participate and with computer network knowledge. This is interactive because people will click on link, leave comments and etc.

For example Skype because you can communicate with someone and share new knowledge with them. I think this interactive because makes the user call people, text to people. send photos to people and etc.
