What is In Class Support? In Class Support (ICS) In-class support is an instructional arrangement in which a special education teacher or paraprofessional provides special education services in the general education setting. www. springbranchisd. com
What are Resource Services? Resource services are provided by a special education teacher that include specialized, IEPdirected instruction to students with disabilities in a special education setting for part of the day. www. springbranchisd. com

ICS model in SBISD Collaboration between SPED and General Education teacher Insure that students have all ARDed accommodations and modification Services can be provided by a SPED teacher or a Para Educator SPED staff can work with any students in the classroom SPED staff does not give grades http: //ctserc. org/component/k 2/item/50 -six-approaches-to-co-teaching
Resource Model in SBISD Services are only delivered by a SPED teacher Services are provided for a short period time ( Ex. 30 mins. ) Setting is separate from the General Education classroom Students IEPs are targeted Accommodations and modified are insured Bridges gaps in students learning with specific research based learning programs such as LLI ( Leveled Literacy Intervention and Do The Math) SPED teachers shares grades with General Education teacher
