What is a traditional tale? A traditional tale is a story that has been told and re-told for many years and becomes a story that almost everyone knows!

Have you read these traditional tales? Maybe you own some of the books? There are sometimes slightly different versions of traditional tales.

Complete the table on the next slide after you have listen to all 3 of the stories. I have done an example for you for Goldilocks and the three bears so you can see what is expected. How does it end? Goldilocks and the three bears Young girl called Goldilocks. She has blonde hair. She meets 3 Bears who are annoyed by her behaviour The Three Bears house Goldilocks eats baby bear’s porridge, breaks his chair and sleeps in his bed. The Bears come home and are not happy Goldilocks manages to escape on her own.
