A HYPOTHESIS IS: A tentative explanation for an observation or a scientific problem that can be tested by further investigation.
IT IS AN IF, THEN, BECAUSE STATEMENT Question: Hypothesis: How do I get rid of the pigeons? If I place a fake snake by the pool, then the pigeons will go away because they are afraid of snakes. Does water help a plant grow? If water is related to plant growth, then the more you water plants, the bigger they will grow because water increases plant cell reproduction.
