Biggest Problem: Cliques • Based on our survey, we found that the issue of cliques/separation of classes was the top answer that students felt was a large issue at WHS • Most students did not remember What If? Week last year. • To create a lasting impact on WHS that doesn’t just last a week we created events that would help students make new friends and to unify the school the best we can.

Week Plan: It Starts with YOU Monday- Be. YOUtiful Tuesday- YOUnified Wednesday- Share YOUr Story Thursday- We’re all YOUnique Friday- YOU Can make a difference

Monday- Be. YOUtiful. TARGET: Boost confidence and self esteem for students to encourage them to be more outgoing -This can help others make new friends by being more comfortable around their peers. -Atmosphere: Mirrors everywhere with encouraging sayings and compliments. -Have a compliment tree at lunch “My favorite thing about me is…” “Something I like about ____ is…”

Tuesday: YOUnited TARGET: Encourage others to sit with new people and make friends outside of their “group” -At lunch have a hang out open to everyone! (Pizza social) -Free pizza and music in the area where club fests are held. (lots of room for deco) - “exclusion is bullying” -5 ASB students go around serving drinks/cleaning up

WEDNESDAY- Share Your Story TARGET: Encourage people to share their story in order to: 1. Help other students understand that everyone is going through a tough time, will encourage everyone to be kind to each other. 2. Have students make connections (that’s happening to me too! I understand how they feel! - have people submit their stories, there will

Thursday- YOUnique TARGET: Encourage students to be confident about who they are! - write what makes you different from everyone & post on a different and unique looking tree - rewarded with candy - post quotes around school

Friday- YOU can make a difference Mike Smith Assembly! -Make posters for assembly -Warrior nation lunch/ Meet and Greet with Mike Smith - “What are YOU going to do to change things”

Realistic Budget- $1000 To purchase: -Tape -mirrors -paint -pizza - Drinks - Deco for quad/around school - Post it notes
