Oscar Wilde. Biography. Irish-born English author, dramatist, and poet Born: October 16, 1854, Dublin, Ireland. Education: Portora Royal School, Enniskillen; Trinity College, Dublin, and at Magdalen College, Oxford. 1878 - received his BA. 1879 - began to teach Aesthetic Values in London. 1881 - His first collection of poems was published. 1884 - married Constance Lloyd had two sons: Vyvyan Holland Cyril Holland. 1887 -1889 - worked as a reviewer for the Pall Mall Gazette. 1895 - was imprisoned. 1897 - was released. Died: November 30, 1900, Paris, France.
