BIODIVERSITY Biodiversity = the variety of all the different species on Earth (or within an ecosystem). It is important that on Earth we have a high biodiversity, but why? COPY OUT THIS What would happen if all of the frogs died out?

Possibly the snakes would have no food, so would also die out…… NOW COPY OUT THIS then the eagles would have no food and die out too. . we may then get overrun with crickets! Having a high biodiversity reduces the dependence of one species on another, maintains stability of ecosystems and prevents the extinction of species.

Land Use Using the information on this slide, produce a spider diagram with ‘Land Use’ in the middle, showing the 5 main human uses and then state why our land use is a problem.
