It was so huge that "it reached 30 million units sold in the United States alone" (Winget). On April 26, 2006 the original name, the Revolution System, was changed to the Wii (Casamassina).
Why was the Revolution System changed to the Wii? The Wii was changed to Wii to represent "we". Which meant this console was for everyone. The name change was to demonstrate that it will break down the wall that seperates video game players from everybody else. It was also to put everyone in touch with their games and each other. " The Wii is not a replacement for sports, but it can help those who are inactive or have disabilities to exercise. An example of this is the senior citizens who cannot play sports because of physical pain.

"Players will lean to block soccer balls, swivel their hips to power hoop twirls or balance to hold the perfect yoga pose" (IGN). Wii Fit helps you see your calories you started out with and the calories you might have lost over the time you started playing the game.
How does Just Dance help? Just dance helps anyone of any age exercise their arms and legs, if you use your whole body. It depends on the person playing. If that person is playing with one arm, then that whole arm gets a workout. If you're using your whole body, it counts as a cardio workout that will get you to move your arms, hips, shoulders, etc. . Everyone has to use the Wii remote with the sensor to attempt to mimic the on-screen movements.
