What are Stars? luminous ball of gas and dust, mostly hydrogen and helium, held together by its own gravity. What are they made of? Gases and dust What do they burn? Hydrogen and helium
What kinds of Stars are there? Main sequence , red giant , white dwarfs, black hole, brown dwarf, variable What kind of Star do we have? Yellow dwarf What are the biggest ones? Yellow hyper giant What are the smallest ones? Red dwarf
What are the oldest stars White dwarf, black hole, neutrons What are the youngest stars? Nebula What are the brightest ones? Yellow dwarf What are the dullest ones? White dwarfs
How are stars born? Formed in nebula, interstellar clouds of dust and gas. These stellar nurseries are abundant in the arms of spiral galaxies. In the stellar nurseries, dense parts of these clouds undergo gravitational collapse and compress to form a rotating gas globule. How do starts die? Stars expand as they grow old. As their core runs out of hydrogen and then helium, the core contacts and the outer layers expand, cool, and become less bright.
