Writing • SAQ (Short Answer Question) • Approximately 13 mins per question (3? s, choice of 4) and must stay in box given in booklet • SAQ 1 = secondary source, SAQ 2= primary source, SAQ 3 and 4 = no stimulus • Asked to do three tasks per question • DBQ (Document Based Question) • Given 7 documents with essay question • Even if you don’t know the content well, you can rock this essay by analyzing information given • Must find relationships among docs (corroboration/contradiction) • Will need to use POV, purpose, historical situation, or audience • Will practice working w/ docs A LOT • LEQ (Long Essay Question) • Must know content well including region, theme, and time period • Can be a Compare/Contrast (CC) essay, a Causation essay, or a Change and Continuity Over Time (CCOT) essay • Some skills will be easier to use for certain topics • Will be given three options
