Methods Geoprocessing steps for entire state dataset • Midpoints of both line feature classes (WVDOT_Midpoints and SAM_Midpoints) • Spatial join – WVDOT_Midpoints to SAM_Midpoints • Join features from SAM_Lines to SAM_WVDOT_Mid. Points by SAM_ID • Field calculations to simplify attributes (all attributes for WVDOT and SAM) • Identify features that were not intersected by SAM data (“Missing_WVDOTsource”).
