Kinds of assertive sentence and its structure. Assertive Affirmative Negative Affirmative Structure: sub+Verb+object. Negative structure: sub+donot/does not/ did not+p. v+object Negative structure: sub+am, is, are, was, were, have, has, had+v+not+object

How to convert from affirmative to negative. Only/alone/merely Affirmative: Negative: Replaced by None but(person/creator)/N othing but(things)Not more than/Not less than(Number/Age) Only Allah can help us. None but Allah can help us.

As soon as Replaced by No sooner had. . (v 3)…. than Affirmative: As soon as the man saw the police he ran away. Negative: No sooner had the man seen the police than he ran away.
As……. . as Replaced by Not less……than Affirmative: Shimi is as wise as Rimi. Negative: Shimi is not less wise than Rimi.
Too………. to Replaced by So……. . that+su b+can not/could not+verb Affirmative: He is too weak to walk. Negative : He is so weak that he can not walk.
Absolute superlative degree Replaced by No other+rest part of superlative degree+so+positi ve deg. +as+sub. Affirmative: Dhaka is the biggest city in Bangladesh. Negative: No other city in Bangladesh is as good as Dhaka.
Always Replaced by Never+opposite word Affirmative: Rony always attends the class. Negative: Rony never misses the class.
Sometimes affirmative sentences are Replaced by Using opposite word(before the word) “not” is used Affirmativee: I shall remember you. Negative : I shall not forget you.
Sometimes Replaced by Not always Affirmative: Rahim sometimes visits me. Negative : Rahim doesnot always visit me.
