3 0 INDEPENDENT LEARNING Compared to the US, Australian unis § Have few contact hours; 2 -5 hours per week, per subject § Academics won't chase you up if you miss classes or assignments. All lectures are recorded and available online § But don’t leave it to the last minute to watch them! Each tutor or lecturer has 1 hour of office hours per week, per subject. § Not very popular
