A detailed expenditure report must be submitted with this report showing the amount reported in Column C and D. To report federal money tansferred to consortium members, use Expenditure code 303/304. Expenditures reported in Column C and D must match your audited, certified UFARS expenditures. Both a completed electronic and hard copy of this form must be submitted to MDE by November 15, 2014. A detailed expenditure report must be submitted with the signed hard copy. The Case for Distance Learning (DL) Snapshot 2013 -14: 20 out of 45 consortia (44%) are engaged in DL and have completed PD Represents 6, 252 DL learners (any % DL) and 166, 902 hours 18 consortia (40%) are engaged in DL but have never completed PD Represents 674 DL learners (any % DL) and 14, 281 hours 7 consortia (16%) are not engaged in any DL

Hybrid students show more level gains

What Should You Do about Testing? Revise your consortium assessment policy. Communicate the new procedures to all ABE staff. Explore strategies to increase learner persistence and intensity of instruction.

What Should You Do about DL? Participate in DL 101 with St. Paul Participate in DL Basics online course (http: //online. themlc. org) As of May 1, 2015, anyone involved in delivering or administering DL will be required to complete DL Basics Online Course or DL 101. (Check out the revised policy on requiring DL PD for counting proxy hours, to be released winter 2015. )
