Basic Outline of Grades (Algebra) O 60%- Tests/Quizzes/Assessments O 25%- Classwork/Homework O 15%- Final Exam

Homework O Homework is practice and is assessed daily

Basic Outline of Grades (AP Statistics) O Tests (about 6 a semester, worth 100 pts each) O Homework O Projects (about one per semester, worth 100 pts each)

AP Stats Exam O When: Thursday, May 16 (afternoon) O Benefits: COLLEGE CREDIT!!!! (3, 4, or 5) During 2 nd semester, if you take AP exam, I will drop lowest test score. O Success rate?

Basic Outline of Grades (Probability & Statistics) O Weekly Quizzes- 40% O Weekly Homework & Projects – 30% O Midterm Test – 15% O Final Exam – 15%

Classwork/Participation O It is essential that every student does the classwork. This is our time to figure out the math. O Very collaborative environment

Tests/Quizzes (Algebra) O 4 major tests in the semester O They are worth usually 100 points O Quizzes will occur throughout the year at varying times O They can be worth as little as just a check mark or as much as 50 points O Tests and Quizzes will be 70% of your grade O Retakes O One test per quarter- can earn up to 80%

Final Exam O We will take a common final and common tests O This means that every other Algebra student is taking the same type of test. O This will include multiple choice and free response questions
