Classroom Expectations In third grade I firmly believe that lifelong success depends on self discipline. In my class I have developed a plan that gives every student the opportunity to manage his/her own behavior through a management plan called “Check Us Out”.

Check Us Out $ Each student is given a checkbook and taught how to keep their checkbook balanced $ Students are paid $300. 00 per month. This is the baseline $ However, this money has to be used to pay any “fines” that the student may incur- these fines are part of the consequences to our class rules. If a rule is broken during the day, the student must pay his/ her fines by subtracting the amount from their checkbook. $ Students may use their money to purchase the following coupons: free homework pass, homework extension pass, free recess pass, game pass, or they could save their money for the class auction, which is held on the last full day of school.
