Line: • The smallest installation unit is a line. It can consist of a maximum of 4 line segments, each with up to 64 devices STEINEL ACADEMY 17

The following limit values apply for the cable lenghts within a line: • Length of a line segment • Distance between power supply and bus devices • Distance between 2 power supplies incl. Chokes • Distance between two bus devices STEINEL ACADEMY max. 1000 m max. 350 m max. 200 m max. 700 m 19
Area: • If more than 1 line is used, up to 15 lines can be connected to a main line via a line coupler and combined into an area. STEINEL ACADEMY 20
