Welcome to the DC Department of Corrections Central Cell Block Clinic (CCBC) Located in DC Metropolitan Police Headquarters Building, 300 Indiana Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001 on the ground floor
Arrestee Population in the Central Cell Block (CCB): • The CCB housed more than 7, 152 arrestees from October 1, 2016 through July 31, 2017. • Approximately 2000 or twenty three percent of these arrestees require some level of medical intervention annually. The Central Cell Block Clinic (CCBC) Operates 7 days a week with strategic clinic hours: • Mondays 6 pm – 6: 30 am • Tuesday 6 pm – 12 Midnight • Wednesday – 6 pm – 6: 30 am • Thursday 6 pm – 6: 30 am • Friday 6 pm – 6: 30 am • Saturday 6 pm – 6: 30 am • Sunday 12 noon – 6: 30 am

Total clinic visits: 794 • Male – 535 • Females – 255 • Transgender – 4 Total Mental Health Patients: 91 • Male – 49 • Female – 41 • Transgender – 1 Total Substance Abuse Patients: 59 • Male – 44 • Female – 15 • Transgender – 0 Total Patient Transports to Local Medical Facilities: 26 • Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) – 8 • Local Emergency Rooms – 18 Top 5 Diagnosis for Treatment: • Hypertension • Headache (Non-trauma) • Mental Health (Suicidal Ideations, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Mood Disorder, Dementia) • Substance Abuse (Heroin, Opioids, Alcohol) • DMI/DMII (Diabetes (Controlled/Uncontrolled)

The Central Cell Block is entered through a secured entrance located on 3 rd street and Indiana Ave. All entry to the facility is monitored by DC Police and DC Corrections. Entry requires a DOC employee badge. CCB Entrance
