The JROTC Program We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Accomplishments • Biggest Honor Guard Unit in the past 3 years • The first year in this program to have a Flag Detail team involved within other sports • In the Past 11 Inspections we have earned Honor Unit With Distinction 8 times, and Honor Unit 3 times • This year, we have the biggest drill team in 4 years • Battalion formation rendering honors to 101 st Airborne Golden Knights parachute team dropping in with “game ball” for the homecoming game We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Accomplishments • We have had an essay win 3 rd Brigade last year by cadet Brittany Hodson • Participating within the Academic Bowl for the JROTC competition • Have a strong relationship among other JROTCs through summer camps and programs • We work every Home football game concession stand • The first year this JROTC Program is under Battalion colors. Cardinal Battalion Commander DUTIES: • Make operational decisions for the Battalion • Consult with SAI/AI on policy matters • Coordinate with other WCHS organizations • Coordinate with the CSM on enlisted matters • Honor Guard Commander BC • Attend Leadership meetings We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Duties in Progress • Direct information from the SAI/AI with the Executive Officer (XO) • Preparation for the Formal Inspection • Pass information between Company Commanders • Prepare cadets in formally answering a question. Cadet Battalion Executive Officer DUTIES: • Direct/ coordinate the staff • Consult with BC on policy matters • Inspect / reviews staff activates • Preside over Battalion staff meetings • Keep the STAFF on task XO • Drill Team Commander We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

S-1 Personnel Officer DUTIES: • Prepare Personnel records and reports • Maintain all personal data sheets of each cadet • Have a firm understanding of JUMS and updating it frequently S-1 • Take count on all cadets who go on a trip with the JROTC We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

1 Duties Performed • Enter personal records in the JUMS • Account for cadets participating in fall picnic / rappelling • Account for paperwork of cadets going rappelling We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

S-2 Security Officer DUTIES: • Is in charge of all JROTC security along with weapons security • Writing safety reports / rules for activities S-2 • Serves as security for all events We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Duties Performed • Checked all secured rifles in storage • Cleaned and put up security on the staff room computers • Wrote a safety brief and flagged all obstacles or danger zones for the activities for the picnic S-2 • Marked all property given to the JROTC as “Government Property” We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Upcoming Duties • Serves as security at the Military Ball • Writes the standard of conduct for the Military Ball to all cadets • Makes sure JROTC cadets are the only ones involved in JROTC events S-2 • Monthly inventory on secured items We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

S-3 Operations Officer DUTIES: • Coordinate operations, planning, training, and recreational activities Fills the yearly calendar • Provide staff with an overview / coordination of extracurricular activities Makes sign-ups for upcoming events S-3 Oversee the overall plan of upcoming activities before going to the XO We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

S-4 Supply Officer DUTIES: • Responsible for supplies and equipment for upcoming events • Issue clothing or supplies as directed • Advise staff/SAI/AI on required and available supplies to support activities • Conduct inventories of supplies and equipment • Coordinate for food supplies at given activities such as picnics or etc. S-4 • Use JUMS for issuing and returning uniforms We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

S-5 Special Projects Officer DUTIES: S-5 • Public Affairs Officer • Provide information on the program’s activities/accomplishments to the news media • Input for High school year book • Plan public service events and plans • Provide photos/articles of the activities throughout the year • Maintain a historical scrapbook for the year • Update the website We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Duties Performed • Provide information to the Redbird Bulletin for upcoming events • Worked on the Webb City High School JROTC website • Took pictures of the events S-5 • Took pictures of Cadets of the Month We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Command Sergeant Major DUTIES: • Serve as Senior Noncommissioned Officer • Advise command of enlisted matters (Being the voice of the enlisted) CSM • Motivate the enlisted Chain of Command We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!

Duties Performed • Initiated the clean up at the Fall Picnic • Represented enlisted cadets at the staff meetings • Motivating cadets • Talking up the program to the public CSM • Leadership Meetings We are staff, hear us roar; Here we come back for more Hoah!
