Morning Routine • Students who eat breakfast at school should report to the cafeteria

Morning Routine • Students who eat breakfast at school should report to the cafeteria upon arrival. • Students not eating at school should report to gym 2 to sit in line by Language Arts teacher (students should bring reading material). • At 8: 20, students are dismissed to go to their locker and report to advisory/Period 1. • Students should be seated in their assigned seat by 8: 30.

Hallway Behavior • Students will walk in the hallway. • Students will use the right side of the stairway when going up or down stairs. • Students will not run, skip, or jump down the stairs. • Horseplay will result in a common area signing.

Discipline Signings • Students may receive a discipline signing for the following offences: – Excessive talking – Disruptive behavior – Inappropriate comments to classmates – Out of seat – Throwing something – Disrespect – Being unprepared on a consistent basis.

Tardies • There is a four minute passing period between classes when students can

Tardies • There is a four minute passing period between classes when students can go to their locker or go to the restroom. • Students not in class when the tardy bell rings will be considered late. • Students who accumulate 3 - 4 tardies will be assigned a 1 hr. after school detention. • Students who accumulate 5 tardies will be assigned a 2 hr. after school detention.

Homework • Homework will be assigned weekly for Math. Students will receive homework on

Homework • Homework will be assigned weekly for Math. Students will receive homework on Wednesday and it is due the following Tuesday. • Homework is due at the beginning of class. • Failure to turn in homework will result in points being taken off the assignment.

Intermediate Grading Policy • Daily work/homework – 70% of grade. • Tests/projects – 30%
