Welcome to System 44

Get Prepared System 44 is a program to help you with your reading skills. But think about it. Not just reading, but all of your subjects in school will become easier if you are a proficient reader! For some of you it will be super easy the beginning, that’s ok! For others this will be all new, and that’s ok! System 44 starts at the very beginning of learning language, sounds and letters and how to put them together to make words. It will gradually become more advanced as the computer learns what you already know. It will adapt to you! Hang in there, be patient and do your best! Gather your materials: Paper, pencil, computer, headphones with microphone

Software System 44 has 25 series with 160 different topics in them. You must pass each topic in order to move on. Complete this sentence frame: I will complete a topic when I earn a progress monitor score of _______or higher.

A Series is complete in System 44 when all of the topics in that series are complete. Before beginning the next series, you will take a short Fast Track Assessment. This helps the software decide which skills to teach you. If you already know a skill, the software will skip it! This is called Fast Tracking.
