Locker Information • Room 203 has lockers 2287 – 2318 • You each have been assigned a locker and a combination • Do Not share your combination with anyone • Ensure you lock all valuables in your locker • PGMS is NOT responsible for lost/stolen items Locker Stops 1. Attendance Policy • If you miss school, you need to ensure you bring an absent note from a parent or a doctor within 3 days after the absence. Preferably, the next day. • Truancy – being absent from school without the permission of a parent or school official • Family trip? You may take family trips, but you are limited to 5 days per school year. • Attendance in class. Students must be in line or in the room in their seats at the time of the bell.
Fire Drill Expectations • Remain Silent for the duration of the fire drill • Move in an orderly single file line to your destination Leaving from room 203 • Turn LEFT out my door. Walk down the hall turn left and go down the steps. • Proceed out the side doors into the grassy areas on the football field. • Remember– you are to be SILENT for the duration of the drill
School-Wide Cell Phone Policy • The cellular phone must be turned off upon entering any school building and remain off until the student is leaving the school building. • In the morning if you are in the cafeteria or auditorium, your phone must be away before leaving those locations. • The cellular phone must be properly stored during school hours within the student’s assigned locker. • The school staff assumes no responsibility for lost and/or damage to personal devices brought to school by students. Consequences • First Instance – In-Class Redirection/Warning • Second Instance – In-Class Redirection/Warning • Third Instance - Teacher Detention • Fourth Instance & Subsequent – Student is sent to the office & Teacher submits a referral

Games are NOT permitted unless you are caught up in your work on your Math XL assignments and given permission by ME!!! • Earbuds are highly recommended and required for some classes. DO NOT SHARE!!!
Student Dress Code General 1. Excessively baggy pants or clothing that can conceal items and/or pose a safety hazard are not permitted. 2. Underwear should not be exposed in any way. 3. All dress and grooming should be appropriate. Students are expected to dress in accordance with good taste and personal pride. Students have the responsibility to keep themselves, their clothes, and their hair clean. 4. Blankets, covers, or other types of bedding are prohibited. Bottoms 1. Pants, shorts, skirts must be secured and worn no lower than the hip. Low riding/sag style is not permitted. 2. Boxer shorts worn as outerwear are not permitted. 3. Shorts, skirts, and/or dresses are to be fitted for both comfort and appearance, must be in good taste, and appropriate length. Shorts with pockets hanging below or longer than the shorts are not permitted. Shirts 1. Tops may not be “low cut” or exposing. Bare midriffs and bare backs are not permitted. 2. The following are unacceptable school attire: a. Tank tops/muscle shirts. b. See-through/mesh blouses or shirts. c Tube tops/crop tops/half-shirts. 3. Any top that allows the midriff to be exposed is not permitted. All shirts must meet or hangover the waistband. 4. Coats, jackets or garments designed for protection from the outside weather are not to be worn in school. Offensive Dress 1. Clothing, patches, buttons, pins, jewelry, tattoos, etc. are not permitted if they: a. Have sexually suggestive writing/pictures. b. Advocate violence. c. Advertise or promote the use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs.
Student Dress Code Continued Footwear 1. Some sort of shoe must be worn at all times. 2. Any shoe that poses a safety hazard is not permitted. Jewelry 1. Spiked jewelry, chains or any jewelry that could cause injury or constitute a hazard is not permitted. Headwear 1. Hats, caps, bandanas, scarves, head dresses, sunglasses, visors, and sweatbands are not permitted unless an accommodation is necessary and/or they serve a religious purpose. Parent contact must take place to verify religious significance of headwear (i. e. parent note, phone call, parent visit with administrator, etc. ). Consequences 1 st offense- Warning and change to appropriate dress 2 nd offense- Call home, change to appropriate dress 3 rd offense- Call home, change to appropriate dress, one detention 4 th offenses and subsequent - Call home, change to appropriate dress, one day OSS 5 th offense- Call home, change to appropriate dress, becomes insubordination and follow the discipline code.
Café Procedures • Cubical should be used for school materials, keep valuables with you • Respect others in the café – other students, proctors, aides, kitchen faculty, etc. • You should remain in your ASSIGNED seat unless you have been given permission to leave your seat (ex: bathroom or to get food) • Dispose of your trash and clean your area Enter – wooden doors • Silently walk single file to and from the café!!! Do NOT enter the class until given permission. Exit – cashier lines
Auditorium Procedures • Silently walk to and from the auditorium in an orderly SINGLE file line. • Once we enter the auditorium, remain standing and facing forward until you are invited to sit by the principal or presenter. • During the presentation, you should remain quiet, respond appropriately and be a Respectful audience.
Drug & Alcohol Policy • Students possessing, taking or being under the influence of nonprescription drugs, synthetic drugs, prescription drugs, including over-the-counter drugs and alcohol, or drug paraphernalia while under the school’s jurisdiction are in violation of school policy as well as state and federal statutes. But, What If I need my medicine? • Students demonstrating abnormal behavior will be examined by the school nurse and may be searched by school personnel. Parents will be notified to take their child to a physician for physical examination.
