Behaviour If children make good choices each day they stay on a green card.

Behaviour If children make good choices each day they stay on a green card. They get a reminder if we see any poor behaviour then a yellow card. If they receive a red card for bad behaviour we will let you know and try to find ways to help your child make better choices. The cards are displayed in class for each child. Our School Day • We start with phonics on the carpet then go into

Our School Day • We start with phonics on the carpet then go into free-flow activities inside and out of the classroom. Children do focus work or are encouraged to be active in their own learning and choose their own activities. • Mid-morning we have an input on the learning for that session. • Lunchtime is 11. 45 -12. 45 • In the afternoon we have another carpet input and suggest new challenges for the children inside and outdoors. • Assembly is at 2. 55. • Tidying up is an important part of their day!

Food • Packed lunches should consist of healthy foods – no crisps, chocolate, biscuits, fizzy drinks etc. . If your child brings a yogurt for packed lunch, it must be a tub and not a squeezy pouch. • We are a nut free school. Please ensure that your child does not bring in any food which contain nuts including chocolate spread. . • We provide children with fruit as a snack during the day – no need to provide your child with an additional snack. • Please provide your child with a water bottle so they can access this at all times during the day.
