If your student does not have an EPI pen on file with proper orders, we will be waiting for EMS to arrive. When picking up an ill student, please sign the student out in front office
Advice from Attendance: • If your student is late, please send a note and have them sign in the front office. If student arrives before 9: 30 am, they can sign in at their house office and receive a late pass there. • If your student is absent, you do not need to notify the school. Send the student with an excuse note from the doctor the following day. Under HISD Attendance Policy, excuse notes should be submitted within three school days after the absence. To pick up a student early from school • Parent or approved contact must come into Attendance office and sign the student out. • Parent or approved contact must show ID. • We can not call your student out before you arrive. Please plan accordingly. • The latest time you can sign out a student is 3: 30 pm, on early dismissal days it is 12: 15 pm.
