Jesus came to this Earth as a man and not a King

He showed us that true greatness is found, not in ruling over others, but in serving others

Jesus Christ came as the Son Of Man, King Of Kings Incognito, and was the greatest King of all times!

Very few traditional kings had a lowly birth and a life of poverty!

Very few traditional kings ever embraced the sick and most disgusting types of people, and mingled with the world’s most rejected

JESUS DID!

The greatest King of all stooped to the lowest level and was made in the likeness of men

JESUS WAS THE SON OF MAN!

JESUS WAS HUMAN He Was Born Of A Woman Luke 1: 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

It was His favorite name for Himself

He used “Son Of Man” to describe Himself more than any other name

He used it a bunch of times…

The Son Of Man… …Is the Lord Of The Sabbath …Would be betrayed …Should suffer …Would be lifted up …Would be three days in the earth …Would be raised from the dead …Will send forth Angels …Will come again in Glory

There are four times that He called Himself the “Son Of Man” that really spoke to my heart

The Son Of Man Came Not To Be Ministered To, But To Minister Matthew 20: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

The Son Of Man Came To Seek And Save The Lost Matthew 18: 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

The Son Of Man Came To Seek And Save The Lost Luke 19: 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The Son Of Man Can Alone Forgive Sin Matthew 9: 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy, ) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

The Son Of Man Had Nowhere To Lay His Head Matthew 8: 20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

What The ‘Son Of Man’ Taught Me • Care for people • Seek & Share Jesus with the lost • Don’t judge people – “because you can’t forgive their sins anyway!” • Seek God’s Kingdom first! (not stuff)

Matthew 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jesus Christ gave up every right of royalty and submitted Himself to be called the “Son Of Man”

He did this so He could accomplish His mission to SAVE PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS!
