In the parable of the fig tree, Jesus said “when you see all these things, know that the end is near, even at the door”

He followed up in Matthew 24: 35, “Heaven & Earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away!”

There is coming a time of great anguish for everyone present on planet Earth, and especially for the Jewish people

In The Bible It Is Called: THE TRIBULATION Matthew 24: 21 & 29 That’s what Jesus called it!

Look At… Matthew 24: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor ever shall be.

Look At… Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

The word Tribulation comes from the Latin word “Tribulum, ” which is described as a tool used to separate the husks from the corn

The tribulation period will be a time of separating things through great pain and anguish

Matthew 24: 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand: ) Who So Reads, Let Him Understand!

Look at one of the most amazing, most important and most profound prophecies in the entire Word of God!

Jesus said “read & understand” what Daniel the Prophet is saying…

It Is Known As: THE PROPHECY OF 70 WEEKS §Daniel was living in Babylon around 550 BC §He was a former Jewish captive (since his youth) §He had been reading Jeremiah’s prophecy which predicted that after 70 years of captivity, the Jews would be permitted to return to Jerusalem

Daniel 9: 1 -3 1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

Daniel 9: 1 -3 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

During this prayer time, something happened!

Daniel 9: 19 -23 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. 20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;

Daniel 9: 19 -23 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

Daniel 9: 19 -23 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

So, are you ready to read and understand?

Daniel 9: 24 -27 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Daniel 9: 24 -27 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Daniel 9: 24 -27 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Daniel 9: 24 -27 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

“Seventy weeks are determined” What is meant by 70 weeks?

The literal translation is “seventy sevens”

Seven of what?

The big clue is found in… Daniel 9: 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

SEVEN speaks of 7 years

A week is 7 years

As an example, to us… A Century = 100 years A Score = 20 years A Decade = 10 years

So, in this passage of text… …A week equals 7 years

When would Daniel’s 70 weeks begin?

It begins with the command to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem

This event is revealed in Nehemiah chapter th one, as the 20 year of Artaxerxes I

Many experts, as well as being listed in Encyclopedia Britannica, set this date as March 14, 445 BC

There are four distinct time periods mentioned in this prophecy

The st 1 Period Is 7 Weeks 7 x 7 = 49 yrs Daniel 9: 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

The st 1 Period Is 7 Weeks 7 x 7 = 49 yrs The rebuilding of the walls and streets of Jerusalem

The st 1 Period Is 7 Weeks 7 x 7 = 49 yrs This literally took place during the time of 445 to 396 BC (49 yrs!)

The st 1 Period Is 7 Weeks 7 x 7 = 49 yrs Check out Nehemiah chapters 2 through 6 when you get a chance!

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs Daniel 9: 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs The Messiah, Jesus Christ, was crucified (396 BC – AD 30)

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs The British scholar, Sir Robert Anderson has reduced the first two periods into their exact number of days

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs The total number of days in the first 69 weeks (483 yrs) is 173, 880

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs Anderson points out that if one begins counting th forward from March 14 , 445 BC, the day runs out th on April 6 , 32 AD

The nd 2 Period Is 62 Weeks 62 x 7 = 434 yrs Anderson concludes that on this very day, Jesus Christ made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem!

CHECK OUT DANIEL’S PROPHECY SO FAR… • Jerusalem’s streets and walls will be rebuilt • The Messiah, Jesus Christ, will be cut off, but not for Himself

The rd 3 Period Is ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Anti-Christ will confirm a seven year covenant with Israel THE TEMPLE WILL BE REBUILT

The rd 3 Period Is ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Anti-Christ will confirm a seven year covenant with Israel PERHAPS IT WILL SERVE AS THE CENTER OF RELIGIOUS CONTROL

The rd 3 Period Is ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Anti-Christ will confirm a seven year covenant with Israel APPARENTLY THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE HAILED BY ISRAEL AS HER MESSIAH

The rd 3 Period Is ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Anti-Christ will confirm a seven year covenant with Israel MUSLIMS WILL VIEW THE ANTI-CHRIST AS THEIR LONG WAITED “MAITREYA”

The rd 3 Period Is ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Anti-Christ will confirm a seven year covenant with Israel EVEN CHRISTIANS WILL THINK HE IS THE CHRIST

The th 4 Period Is Also ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs This will be the last half of the Tribulation

The th 4 Period Is Also ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Peace Treaty will be broken by the Anti-Christ

The th 4 Period Is Also ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs The Abomination of Desolations will take place

The th 4 Period Is Also ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs Daniel 12: 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The th 4 Period Is Also ½ Week 7 x ½= 3½yrs This is worse than any holocaust story in the past
