How Can I Do This To Dad?

Some Daddy Thoughts… I get more encouragement out of seeing my children doing right, than anything else they could give me

Some Daddy Thoughts… The opposite is true too; when they willfully do wrong, it hurts and discourages me. I feel like I didn’t do a good job as their dad.

Some Daddy Thoughts… When someone says my kid is just like me (and if they’ve said it for a good reason), that makes me so happy!

Some Daddy Thoughts… I don’t need a gift from my children on Father’s Day. I prefer a hug or card with an encouraging word.

Some Daddy Thoughts… I am happy when my children are happy!

Some Daddy Thoughts… I love to see my children smile and laugh!

Some Daddy Thoughts… When they say “Thanks Dad” it’s huge to me!

Some Daddy Thoughts… Respect & Honor from my children means more to me than anything!

HONOR MEANS… …To Have High Respect For …To Confer Distinction On …To Have A Good Reputation …To Praise

Ephesians 6: 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Obeying is Respectful and Honoring, but it’s different

OBEY MEANS… …To Do As You’re Told …To Perform The Orders Of

Obeying seems to mean, “Do it because you have to. ” While Respect & Honor means, “Do it because you want to!”

How can I make these for dad?

As a boy, He did what His Daddy wanted Him to do

As a young adult, He wanted to do what was right

As a man, He wanted to work the work He was sent to do

In His agony, He wanted to do His Father’s will, even if it killed Him

On The Cross, He Wanted To Finish Well!

Look… Philippians 2: 5 -11 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
