Homework • Homework packets will be sent home each Monday; Tuesday, if there is

Homework • Homework packets will be sent home each Monday; Tuesday, if there is no school on Monday. – *Homework will begin the week of August 31 st. • The packets will consist of math, Super Speller activities, and phonics if needed (subject to change) • Daily Reading – Encourage your child to read daily. Feel free to read newspapers, instructions, books, magazines, brochures, menus, maps, etc. These help your child develop a love of reading. • Practice with Numbers – count to 100 (by 2, 5, 10, etc. , ) use flashcards for addition and subtraction.

Progress Reports and Report Cards • Progress Reports are generated in the middle of

Progress Reports and Report Cards • Progress Reports are generated in the middle of each quarter at the 4 ½ week mark. Progress Reports are normally sent home the following week. Mini-conferences are encouraged during this time. • Report Cards are generated at the end of each quarter or 9 week marking period. CCSD Parent – Teacher Conference will be held the week of October 19 th. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
