BOGLE’S ACCOUNTABLE INDEPENDENT READING PROGRAM-(AIR) AIR Reading Requirements Accountable Independent Reading (AIR) is an important component of the Bogle English Language Arts program. Students are required to read one novel during the first quarter and two novels during quarters two, three, and four. Students must complete the final AIR project for each novel by the deadlines. Junior high students should be reading a minimum of 20 -minutes daily to enhance vocabulary, reading comprehension, and verbal fluency to prepare for and engage in meaningful life experiences
